AJ had a first grade assignment to give a presentation and dress like a famous person. He chose George W. Bush, and I was just delighted!! He dressed as the cowboy version of Pres. Bush. He made this awesome poster thanks to Grandma Gay and Grandpa Bud, who gave us all the cool pictures!

Ready for battle! AJ is dressed and ready for fun at the Fascinate You Children's Museum in downtown Fayetteville.

AJ and Avery riding in Pap and Meemaw's golf cart. It was just the perfect size to belt them in, ideally for golf bags, but the totally enjoyed riding around the park like this. It was a nice visit in Florida, but it was unusually cold for this time of year! Who can complain, it's should get up to 80 here in NC tomorrow!

Avery and AJ in their Upward uniforms. They just finished the season and loved it! It's a wonderful Christian basketball and cheerleading league. They both learned so much and were just darling as they dribbled away and cheered each other on:)

Avery, Kristen, and Kendall. Our neighbor friends that moved a few weeks back. We've been so sad without our playmates! Avery and AJ are praying for a family with kids their age to move in.

Jake got new slippers! Big story made short, I've tried so many options to stop Jake from scratching up the new hardwood floors...slippers, nail caps, walking lessons:) I was getting so frustrated! After talking to my friend, Dana, turns out Jake probably has some old age pain and some loss of vision at night. I feel so bad for making him repeatedly walk around the house after he goes sliding across the floor:( Poor Mr. Lickems! I won't be so hard on him anymore!

I couldn't resist this picture of Uncle Jerry and his new Bigfoot toy! We're keeping a lookout for any signs of Bigfoot, the kids are sure he might just live in the wetlands/woods behind us:)

Christmas 2006. We're moved and finally settled in (I did manage to even get the tree down before Feb), so I will try to post new pictures each week. God bless everyone!

The reason you shouldn't use bubble bath in a whirlpool tub! Mind you the kids have only taken one bath in their tub upstairs, this one proves to be too much fun!
